Role and responsibilities include but are not limited to: work Per-diem as an infusion nurse, provide a high level of patient care and communication, complete patient documentation in a timely manner, participate in on-call rotation as indicated by staffing and business needs, and more.

Qualifications include but are not limited to: Registered Nurse with current unencumbered license in the state of practice; minimum two years nursing experience, preferably in infusion, ICU, ER, or Critical Care departments; Nurse Practitioners welcome to apply; minimum of two years infusion/ IV experience; have and maintain current ACLS/BLS certification; have the ability to work autonomously; have excellent written and verbal customer service skills in order to interact with the patient, physician and other partners; have and maintain nursing malpractice insurance policy; and CRNI certification preferred but not required.

We are currently seeking to hire an experienced Medical Biller to join our team! *** This is an office-based position in Hamilton NJ. This is not a remote position. ***

Role and responsibilities include but are not limited to: Billing support, including workup of denials and underpayments, claim appeals, filing for foundation payment, invoicing patients, and all other components of a quality medical billing process; Insurance qualification protocols, including coordinating, obtaining and verifying any necessary prior authorizations, pre-certifications and referrals; Keep and maintain the privacy and confidentiality of all patient information, including personal information, treatment information, and financial information, in accord with the standards of all federal, state and local laws; Answering patient calls, and proactively calling patients to assist them with scheduling, authorizations, billing questions, troubleshooting, inquiries, complaints and other concerns; Answering provider calls, and proactively calling providers to obtain documentation, assist in the authorization process, and facilitating patient access; Attend and participate in meetings and/or conferences as requested by management; and other duties as assigned.

Qualifications include: Experience working as a medical biller in a medical practice environment for at least two years required; Experience with prior authorizations and administrative work in a medical practice environment for at least two full years is required; Strong knowledge of CPT-4, ICD-10, modifiers, EOBs and medical terminology; Solid computer, math, language and telephone skills; Graduation from a medical billing course with 2 years of experience required. (Billing course can be replaced with an additional 2 years of experience, but in that case a total of 4 years minimum work experience is required.)
